Isla has a great variety of beaches along its marine perimeter, with some own characteristics and sufficient attractiveness so as to satisfy the different tastes of the people who love going to the beach. The beaches of Isla have in common their salubrious fine sands and its crystalline Cantabrian waters, of unbeatable sanitary quality, which have been distinguished (beach El Sable and La Arena), with the insignia of the blue flag by the European Union, They have all kind of services, you can account on good accesses, wide parking spaces, daily cleaning service, showers, supervision, assistance and first aid services.
In all of them you can sunbathe, or have strengthening wave-baths, in addition to practising submarine and surface fishing, and a great variety of nautical sports.

La Cava beach
At the start of the Joyel Dunes where the tide mill is found. This small beach offers complete tranquility together with beautiful and relaxing views.

El Cándano beach
A beautiful cove with gentle cliffs, where nature lovers can enjoy water sports and with no-risk activities for all the family, children and adults alike.

Los Barcos beach
It is so-called because it also serves as a small fishing port and it is washed by Quejo estuary.

El Sable beach
Urban, comfortable and familiar. It is protected from both the wind and the waves and is very suitable for children, who can quite safely explore among the rocks and pools, in the search for marine fauna. It is located within easy walking distance of the centre of Isla.

Arnadal beach
Protectec from the winds by the cliffs, the Arnadal beach is close to open sea and is dotted with oddly-shaped rocky out-crops that endow it with a rugged character. It is a good place the practice of scuba diving, with the necessary precaution, of course.

La Arena beach
This extends along the length of the mouth of the Castellano estuary and is set in a spectaculary beautiful natural enviroment. It is protected from the winds and the waters are gentle and crystal clear. Low tide allows one to take a long stroll, and nudism is practised towards the interior of the estuary.
