Patrimony of Isla

Dominating the island and the coast, the Cabrahigo Tower or Torrín is located on a hill in the Hoyo neighbourhood. It belonged to the Velasco family from Noja.

Perched high on a rock next to a large traditional house with a XVIII chapel in the neighbourhood of Los Corrales is the tower of the Jado family.

Whale hunting took place along the coast of the port of Kexo (Quejo) and the whales were quartered in the "House of the Whales", a building adjoining the San Sebastian chapel by its north face.

Isla ordered the constructed of the Saint Julian and Saint Basilisa Parish church. Its highlight is the front altarpiece of the main façade and the altarpiece of the main altar. The remains of the ancient pilgrims' hospital are also on this site.
